BLISS with founding members DJ Steffen Aaskoven and Marc-George Andersen, and with Alexandra (vocals) and Tchando (vocals) is an international chill
out pop music collective from Denmark, Sweden and Guinea-Bissau, West Africa, Since 2001, they have become one of the true chill-out underground acts.

Today, the Danish-Swedish-African quartet was founded by the Danes, the producer by the name of Steffen Aaskoven and composer by the name of
Marc-George Andersen, back in 1995. Two other members of the band - it's Salvador 'Tchando' Embalo, African musician originally from
Guinea Bissau, who now lives in Denmark, and Sweden's Alexandra Hamnede, which the guys found just listening to demos sent.
Basis of Music Bliss - a mixture of influences of Western, African and classical sound, to some extent, reflect the "roots" of all four band members.
Their music sounds Scandinavian melancholy, but at the same time with a gentle warmth that is hard to describe in words.
The debut album entitled «Afterlife» was released in Denmark in 2001 and was not published in the international market. However, some tracks already
appeared in a total of more than 60 compilations
Stunning operatic voice, sounding at «Afterlife», belongs to 33-year-old Dane named Xenia Lach-Nielsen. She also starred in films and wrote the
music and by the way, in April 2004, she went own vocal album «Velvet Apple». Her voice is heard on some tracks of last year's album «Quite
Letters», which brought together the best moments of the first album, plus new entries next two years.
In the three tracks (Breathe, Right Here and Don't Look Back) voice sounds as Sophie Barker, who is known for working with a team of Zero 7. She
also participated in the recording of songs Calling, Overture, So Still, Stop Me, Light To Your Life and The Hope from the album «No One Built This
