Артист: Amirali Название: Melancholia Жанр: House Год выхода: 2013 О музыке:
nFo about the artist
Following the release of his "In Time" LP on Crosstown Rebels last year, Amirali has received much
critical acclaim. Described by Resident Advisor as "an example in perfect craftsmanship" his ascendance has been incessant. His avant-garde concoction
of electronica, techno and house and seen him win a legion of followers across the globe and has also seen people like MK, Deetron, Appleblim, Deniz
Kurtel all lend their adept hand at remixing this highly talented, forward thinking individual.
There is no doubt that Amirali's rise to the forefront of cutting edge dance music is the result of hard work, determination and vision. These
traits are of tantamount importance for any artist who wishes to elevate themselves head and shoulders above his peers and when you see just how far
Amirali has come in such a short space of time, it is evident that he possesses all these qualities in abundance. As he prepares to add yet another EP
to his Crosstown discography, the "Melancholia" EP, which comes backed by not one but two remixes by the swiss sonic maestro Deetron - the world waits
on baited breath to see what this young Iranian / Canadian producer comes up with next. With remixes on BPitch Control My Favourite Robot to add to
his mighty tally, Amirali is an artist who finds himself in high demand at present. This demand culminated in Amirali being invited to perform live at
the very first audio / video broadcast of the highly coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in February 2013. For one hour, Amirali was given the
honourable opportunity to pour his magic across international airwaves to millions worldwide.
In terms of what's next, Amirali has plenty up his sleeve. He is currently hard at work in the studio prepping and priming his second full LP for
Crosstown Rebels, this second foray into the world of the artist album promises to be a departure from "In Time" yet will undeniably retain his
ubiquitous style, his individuality and his uniqueness. Amirali has also begun the incredibly exciting process of starting up his very own live band
which he will be taking on the road with him thus adding yet another dimension to this already multi faceted act. He has also begun an onslaught on
dance floors with his record bag at the ready in clubs around the world. Seemingly, Amirali has found more hours in the day that is humanely possible
to balance so many projects with such ease and prowess and it is evident that Amirali is definitely on the right path to great things, as a DJ, a
performer and a vocalist.
All these strings to this bow have seen Amirali touch down in all four confines of the planet, touring the world as an unrivalled and exclusive live
act as well as a DJ. Hs tour diary reads like a who’s who of the world’s best clubs and festivals including: Panorama Bar Watergate (Berlin),
Fabric Lovebox (London), Electric Pickle (Miami), Cityfox (Zurich), Footwork (Toronto), Stereo (Montreal), D-Edge Warung (Brazil), Superclub
(Lima), Gloss Club (Milan), Grelle Forelle (Vienna), Lux (Lisbon), Stealth (Nottingham), Studio Martin (Bucharest) to name but a select few. When you
consider all of the aforementioned has happened in less than a year, it's almost scary to think what the his future will bring - one thing is for
sure though, it will be laden with excitement, intrigue and anticipation.
