Артист: Emilio Fernandez feat. Jones Название: Closer to Me Жанр: House Год выхода: 2013 Label: Magik Muzik/MM10320 О музыке:
Emilio Fernandez presents his brand new single “Closer To Me” on the Magik Muzik imprint. The vocals are performed by Jones.
Emilio Fernandez entered the scene in 2008 with the single “Reynosa”. The track hit big time and shot to the top of the charts in no time.
Supported by all the big names in the industry, “Reynosa” became one of the biggest summer hits of that year. Within a very short period of time
the name Emilio Fernandez was carved in rock, leading to remixes of “Arabian Queen” by Kimito Lopez and “Till We See The Sun” by Blake Lewis.
Emilio’s follow up singles “Let It Go” and “Saltillo” continued the success and now, after a short hiatus, he is back with the brand new
“Closer To Me”, featuring the vocals of the elusive Jones. For the ones that have followed the project from day one, it is a given fact that
Emilio Fernandez of course is the collaborative effort of producers Iwan de Kuijper and Andy Duguid. With “Closer To Me” the duo once again shows
that it is perfectly possible to something unique within the realm of vocal trance, however expanding the sound with state of the art, more techy
elements. A crisp arrangement poses as the background for this massive hit, which stands out through its relentless dance floor appeal! Supported by: Ad Brown, Above Beyond, David Casto, Ian Carey, Johan de Kock, Markus Schulz, Dimitri Kechagias, Shadowfall, Sam Hopkins, T.O.M.,
Steve Kaetzel, Steve Anderson, Paul Oakenfold, Mario Rybansky (Dance One Radio), Ahmad 'maDJam' Ajam, Bobina, Tjerk Coers (Fresh FM),
Michael Myers, Gareth Stirling, Michel de Winter (Radio Hi-Tec), Tom Leclercq, Camilo Santi, Dennis Verheugd (Radio 538, Powermix), David Vendetta,
Flash Brothers, James Hannan and many more!
Emilio Fernandez aka Andy Duguid
Andy Duguid’s career took off in September 2006 when the mighty Tisto picked up his production
“Hypocrisy”. The support of the grand elite of DJ’s followed soon after that when Hypocrisy gained heavy support during sets of Paul van Dyk and
Armin van Burren, after being added to Tisto’s playlist for many consecutive weeks. Being signed to Black Hole after the bidding war that followed,
Hypocrisy landed on the 5th spot of the Dutch Dance Charts and simultaneously landed the career of Andy Duguid, instantly establishing a name for him
in the almost impregnable forest of producers in the scene as we know it today.
The official follow up “Don’t Belong” followed the same path, hailed by the industry as one of the biggest tracks of 2007. Don’t Belong
initially got signed to Tisto’s In Search of Sunrise and it didn’t take long before Black Hole picked up the single for official release. As a
result of his high quality production work, Andy Duguid soon became a frequent remixer for numerous prolific artists. He has worked with the likes of
Tisto, Johan Gielen, Phynn, Filo Peri, Richard Durand and Mr. Sam to name a few, which were released on labels such as Maelstrom, Sola Record and
Songbird. Next to his Andy Duguid moniker, Andy produces under various successful alter egos such as Reeves, Corsie and Emilio Fernandez, with recent
releases as Reeves on Above Beyond’s Anjuna label.
Andy’s debut album “Believe” was released in October 2010 to critical acclaim and included collaborations with acclaimed producers and vocalists
such as Julie Thompson, Leah, Alanah, Donna Anthony, Esmaye, Solarstone and Dutch singer/songwriter I-Fan, who featured on Funkerman’s global hit
release “Speed Up”.
If his fast paced organic development wasn’t enough, Tisto named Andy as his “producer of the year” in DJ Mag, a superb accolade for this
In the latter end of 2009 and into 2010, Andy finished producing Julie Thompson’s debut artist album for Black Hole, along with numerous exciting
projects for games companies, including his remix of Alone in the Dark “Inferno” for Atari Games and recent remixes for Crystal Method, John
O’Callaghan, Fred Baker, Cosmic Gate, Super 8 Tab, Anjuna Records, Vandit, Enhanced, Armada and Motion. He’s busily writing new singles and
preparing to start writing for his second album, one that is greatly anticipated following the successes of ‘Believe’.
‘Miracle Moments’, Andy’s debut mix compilation, has just been released on Songbird, along with the accompanying single of the same title,
featuring vocals from Andy’s long time collaborative singer, Leah, who featured on his Wasted and Don’t Belong singles.
Alongside his productions, his DJing is taking him to every corner of the world, through Europe, Africa and Asia and onwards to the USA where he has
just returned from his debut tour.
